How PTAs pay for teacher pins

A pin for every staff member is affordable for most PTAs: 120 staff pins at 1 inch cost about $2.40 each when ordered at 200 pieces, and the extra pins cover new staff, substitutes and next year. Some PTAs sell matching pins to families as a fundraiser, which pays for the staff pins.

Making it personal

Pair each pin with a handwritten note from students, have students hand the pins to teachers, or put each pin in a velvet pouch.
