Start with a usable project brief
Send these details together so the proof and quote describe the same configuration.
- School or club identity
- Send the clearest artwork or specification reference available.
- Versions and headcount
- Give the actual count for each front.
- Approval and handout date
- Use the date the pins need to be in hand.
Keep identity and awards as separate decisions
A school identity pin can carry the same crest for students, staff or a club. A recognition program needs named awards and quantities for each. Decide which task the project serves before selecting the design.
For a club, a book, discovery emblem or society name can give the group a clear identity. If the full school crest is required, send its approved compact version and the exact school name.
Put the order into a usable brief
| Procurement detail | Include in your brief |
|---|---|
| Recipient group | School-wide issue, club, staff or a specific cohort |
| Artwork | Approved crest and any club name |
| Versions | Quantity for every different front |
| Approval | One contact for school and club feedback |
| Timing | Required handout date and destination |
Keep the small lettering useful
A long school name and a long club title may not both fit around a small emblem. Compare a short club front with the fuller school name on the reverse, or ask to review a larger pin. Check the wording at actual size rather than only as an enlarged image.
If the pin is for a repeating school program, decide whether a changing year should be on every front. A reusable front can keep the identity stable, while the quote separately reviews any back personalization.
Connect the design to the project
Use student award pins for a custom reward series, graduation pins for a cohort, or nursing pins for a school pinning project.
The standard starting quantity is 50 pieces per design. Send the actual count for each front, the selected size and material, any back or packaging requirements and the required arrival date. The pricing page keeps the full base tiers in one place; the project quote brings the selected specification together.

Can a club use its own name with the school crest?
Yes. Send both marks and the exact wording so the layout can be checked at the chosen size.
Is a school identity order the same as award pins?
The recipient and artwork plan differ. A shared crest is one project; separately named awards need their own design and quantity list.
