Give the design a softball detail that is yours

A yellow ball is a starting point. The memorable part can be the team's ribbon colors, the mascot in a pitching pose, a hometown detail or the words players use in the dugout. Choose the detail that should be seen first, then let the team name and season support it.

The concepts above explore different softball compositions: ball stitching, movement and team-ribbon shapes. They can be adapted with your own identity. A concept's pictured dimensions describe that example; the size of your trading pin is set separately in the quote.

Send the team logo at the best quality you have, the exact name and year, uniform colors and any wording for the back. If you have a sketch, mark what matters most rather than trying to finish the artwork before you contact us.

Agree on the total team quantity

Work out the order with the coach or team manager before adding decorative options. Count the players who will trade, choose a planned allocation and add a team reserve. Include coach or sibling allocations if the team wants to cover them.

Team decision Add to the brief
Players trading Roster count
Planned allocation Pins per player for the events ahead
Team reserve The extra quantity you choose to hold
Events covered One tournament or the season
Target order The combined number of identical pins

The team quantity guide and calculator can help turn those counts into an order. Keep the calculation there rather than treating a per-player suggestion as a requirement for every team.

Choose the size before filling the pin with effects

A team name, mascot, softball and ribbon all need room. Compare the design at the intended longest-side dimension and inspect the smallest lettering. The trading pin size guide helps show what a larger outline changes.

Soft enamel leaves raised metal lines between the colors. Glitter can pick out one team color, while a rhinestone can accent a bow or focal point. Choose the effect that contributes to your design and list exactly where it goes. Available treatments are collected on the trading pin add-ons page.

Check the back layout on the proof too. The attachment positions need to work with the final outline, rather than being an afterthought to a large or uneven shape.

Read the quote as one specification

A useful team quote identifies the quantity, size, enamel style, finish, selected effects and delivery arrangement. For glitter, include the number of colors; for stones, include the number per pin. Those details are what make two prices comparable.

The standard starting quantity is 50 pieces per design. A second front design should have its own quantity on the request. The trading pin price page shows how size, volume and extras affect the budget, while your project quote connects the price to the approved artwork.

Teams often organize one purchase through the manager and split the cost internally, or include a sponsor's name in the design brief. We issue one invoice to the team manager. Put any sponsor wording on the proof with the rest of the text.

Work from the date you need the pins

Tell us when the pins need to reach the team, not just the first game date. Include time for the manager to count and distribute them before travel. One person should approve the combined comments on spelling, colors and artwork so the project has a clear final proof.

If the event is close, use the rush-order information and include the destination postcode in your request. The delivery option belongs in the quote alongside the approved specification.

Buying for a different roster? Baseball trading pins have their own club and tournament brief; the trading pin hub links to the other sports.

Prepare a comparable quote

Keep the artwork, quantity of each front, selected options and required arrival date together. The supplier comparison checklist helps compare the same specification. For a repeat run, use the reorder brief to identify the previous version and any change.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

All questions
Can the pin use our softball team colors and mascot?

Yes. Send the logo, team colors and exact wording, or start from a design concept and tell us what to change.

Can we add glitter or a rhinestone?

Those options can be included in the quote. Identify the glitter colors and number of stones so the total matches the design.

Should each player order separately?

A team manager can coordinate the artwork and total quantity. We issue one team invoice; any family cost sharing is organized by the team.

What date should we put on the quote request?

Give the date you need the pins in hand, the tournament date and the destination postcode.
