Identify the detail that needs printing
An enamel design may include lettering, a small mark or a color placed over a filled area. Adding a metal boundary around every element can change that detail. Screen printing is a way to compare an overlaid detail while retaining an enamel base.
Mark the exact part of the artwork that needs the extra treatment. A small complete photograph is a different problem from a short line printed over one enamel color; the printed-pin option can be more suitable for a full image.
Check size and registration on the proof
The underlying enamel, printed detail and metal outline should be reviewed together. Send a clear reference for any lettering that must remain and show its desired position. If the detail becomes too fine, a larger size or simplified artwork may make the result clearer.
