Send one comparable brief
Use the same artwork file, exact wording and reference colors for every supplier being compared. State the longest edge, preferred process, quantity per design and destination. If you are asking for several front versions, list them rather than giving only a project total.
A quote based on one small soft enamel pin is not directly comparable with a larger hard enamel series. Give the required arrival date and any selected packaging or back at the start.
Compare the quote line by line
| Check | What a useful answer identifies |
|---|---|
| Artwork | Which file and front version the price uses |
| Process | Enamel, print, acrylic or another named construction |
| Size | Longest edge and any dimensional limits |
| Quantity | Count and price for every design |
| Setup | Mold, artwork and version fees or inclusions |
| Options | Backs, effects, engraving and packaging |
| Delivery | Approval starting point, destination and charges |
| Approval | What the proof shows and who confirms it |
A per-pin price should name its size, process and quantity tier. Keep the complete delivered total beside it when comparing alternatives.
Separate the sample routes
A sample from a supplier library can help compare surfaces or attachments. A preproduction sample of your own artwork is a different request with its own cost and schedule. Ask which sample is available and what it is meant to demonstrate.
A catalogue render can show a design layout, but it is different from a finished sample or a documented customer project. On this site, the design library is labelled as artwork concepts. Samples describes the available routes.
Ask how changes and repeat orders are handled
Clarify what happens when a front, year, color or quantity changes. A common outline does not automatically mean several front versions share one minimum or price tier. A reorder brief should identify the original approved art and the requested changes.
When a country name appears in a search, distinguish a local business, manufacturing origin and delivery destination. A supplier shipping to a country is not by itself proof of a local factory. Ask for the facts that matter to the project.
Turn the comparison into a decision
Choose the configuration the project can use, with a proof and delivery plan the buyer can approve. Keep the final quote and artwork reference together. To prepare an Enamelore comparison, use custom enamel pins or the relevant project page, then send the same specification through the quote form.
