Using your department's patch or logo
Departments own their patches and logos, so we can reproduce them for the department, its association or its union. Very detailed patches usually need simplifying to read at pin size; our artist shows the changes on the proof. We do not make pins that use another department's insignia without permission.
Recommended specifications
1 to 1.25 inch soft enamel for trading and fundraising pins; hard enamel or die struck for uniform pins. Antique gold and silver finishes suit the classic fire service look. Use locking backs for pins on turnout gear bags and jackets.

Pins for departments that trade
Pin trading between departments is common at conferences, training academies and memorial events. A trading pin is usually 1.25 to 1.5 inches, bright enough to stand out on a board, with the department name large enough to read. Many departments order 300 to 500 trading pins and reorder as stock runs low. Because the mold is kept, reorders arrive without a new proof.

Yes. Volunteer companies and auxiliaries order pins for members and fundraising.

Yes. Send photos from the side and front; our artist draws your apparatus in enamel and shows it on the proof before production.
