Custom logo lapel pin worn on a navy blazer lapel
    On the lapel

Sized to sit neatly on a jacket

Most suit and blazer pins are 0.75 to 1 inch. Above about 1.25 inches a lapel pin starts to look like a badge, so a wide logo is sized by its width and kept low.

    Pin size guide

Size the emblem for where it will be worn

A lapel gives a pin a narrow space beside a jacket opening. A uniform, shirt or lanyard offers a different scale and fabric thickness. Tell us the wearing position before selecting the longest edge. A wide logo can remain low on the garment; a circular seal needs enough diameter for its outer lettering.

Compare the main logo and the smallest text at actual size. An unnecessary tagline can be shortened or moved to a backstamp so the front is still recognizable at a glance.

Match surface and attachment to the garment

Smooth hard enamel gives an emblem a flat finish. Die struck metal uses polished and recessed areas without a full color fill. Choose soft enamel when raised metal outlines are part of the look.

A clutch needs a post through the fabric. A magnetic back works through suitable fabric without a post hole; garment thickness and the size of the pin should be part of that choice. Check the back options along with the front artwork.

For staff and onboarding, continue to corporate lapel pins. An achievement award belongs with employee recognition, while tenure milestones have their own service pin program.

    Check the delivered quote

The standard starting quantity is 50 per design. Compare the complete selected size, material, back and packaging on the price table, then include the destination and the date the pins need to arrive. The digital proof shows the design and specification you are approving; production follows that approval.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    All questions
How should we choose a lapel pin size?

Send the logo and wearing position. The proof can show the selected longest edge and whether the text needs simplifying or a larger layout.

Can a staff pin use a magnet?

A magnetic back is an available option. Include the garment type so its thickness and the pin layout can be considered together.
