    About this design

    ICU Nurse Crest Pin

    The design

    On the pin

A teal shield with a gold-tone edge and ICU NURSE across the top. A white medallion in the center holds a red heartbeat line, and a white banner across the lower half carries the hospital name.

    What it means

The heartbeat line is the monitor trace that defines intensive care, where nurses watch every change. The crest gives the unit an emblem of its own, and because the same layout works for any department, a hospital can build a matching set.

    Colors and finish

Teal is calm and clinical, with the red trace for contrast. Change the shield color for each unit, for example red for the ER and pink for labor and delivery, so the set is easy to tell apart.

    FAQ

    Questions about this design

    All questions
Can we order different units together?

Yes. Tell us how many of each unit you need; each unit name is its own version on the proof, and the quantities are quoted together.

Can the heartbeat line be a different symbol?

Yes. Units often swap it for a symbol of their own, such as a baby footprint for the NICU or a lightning bolt for the ER.

When should we order for Nurses Week?

Approve the proof by late March to have pins by May 6.

Can pins be packed by unit?

Yes. Send unit counts and we bag and label them separately.

How big is a 1-inch pin?

Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
