Drug-Free Ribbon Pin
The design
On the pin
A ribbon-shaped pin in bright red enamel with a silver-tone edge and a white loop center. A navy banner across the tails reads DRUG FREE in white capitals.
What it means
The red ribbon has been the sign of drug prevention in American schools since the 1980s. It began as a tribute to Enrique Camarena, a DEA special agent killed in 1985, whose community wore red ribbons in his memory; the custom grew into the school campaign known as Red Ribbon Week®. This pin carries the same color and message and is not affiliated with that campaign's organizers.

Red Ribbon Week® is a registered trademark of the National Family Partnership, so we only print it for organizations with their permission. DRUG FREE and your school name work for everyone.
How many should a school order?
One per student and staff member is typical. Larger quantities lower the price per pin; the order box shows the price at each quantity.
Can I change the wording on the pin?
Yes. Replace the top or bottom text with your organization, campaign or event name.
How many awareness pins should we order?
One per participant or staff member plus 20%. Prices drop at 300, 500 and 1,000 pieces.
How big is a 1-inch pin?
Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
