The design
On the pin
A ribbon-shaped pin in soft lavender enamel with a copper edge and a white center to the loop. A navy banner across the lower part reads TOGETHER in white capitals.
What it means
Each cancer has its own ribbon color, but lavender stands for all of them at once. It is the ribbon to choose when an event brings together people affected by many different cancers, such as a hospital survivors' celebration or a community walk, so nobody has to look for their own color.
Colors and finish
Lavender is a pale color, so the copper outline does the work of defining the shape; on silver the ribbon can look washed out. The navy banner adds the contrast the soft color lacks, and the word TOGETHER reads clearly against it.

Occasions
When to order
World Cancer Day is February 4 each year, and many hospitals hold survivor events on the first Sunday in June. Relay-style community walks run from spring into summer, so this pin is ordered nearly all year.
Who orders it

More awareness ribbon pins
Lavender or purple, which is correct for all cancers?
Lavender is the widely used color for all cancers. Purple on its own is linked to pancreatic cancer and several other causes, so we match the lighter shade on your proof.
Can we make a version that says SURVIVOR?
Yes. Survivor and caregiver versions are a common pair. Each wording is a version of this design, priced at its own quantity, and the two only need to meet our minimum together.
Can I change the wording on the pin?
Yes. Replace the top or bottom text with your organization, campaign or event name.
