Star Burst Years of Service Pin
The design
On the pin
A pin with an eighteen-point starburst edge in gold tone around a royal blue field. A white disc in the center holds the milestone number in a large royal blue serif, with YEARS beneath it.
What it means
Rays bursting outward are a celebration in shape form: the same motif appears on medals and fireworks. The pin marks a milestone as an occasion rather than a formality, and it works well for mid-career years that deserve a little more fuss.
Colors and finish
Royal blue against the gold rays is bright and confident. Because the number is the only text, it can be very large, which makes the pin easy to read at a distance.

Occasions
When to order
Hand them out at quarterly all-hands meetings or anniversary lunches. Ordering a year's worth of milestones in one run lowers the cost per pin.
Who orders it
Companies that want a cheerful service award, retail and hospitality groups, and schools recognizing staff tenure. Our years of service ideas guide suggests schedules.

Where does our company name go?
On the back as a laser backstamp, for $0.24 per pin, or on a small banner across the bottom of the starburst.
Can the rays be a different color from the field?
Yes. The field takes any enamel color, and the rays stay raised metal in the finish you choose.
Can each milestone year be a different color?
Yes. Each year is a version of the same design, and enamel colors or the metal finish can change by milestone.
Can you engrave the employee name on the back?
Yes, with a laser backstamp for $0.24 per pin.
How big is a 1-inch pin?
Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
