Reading Champion Pin
The design
On the pin
A round pin with a teal ring and a gold-tone rim. READING runs across the top and CHAMPION along the bottom, around an open book with white pages and a teal binding.
What it means
An open book is the plainest sign of reading for pleasure. The word champion makes it a prize to work toward, which is how reading challenges and summer reading programs use it.
Colors and finish
Teal and gold are bright without being childish, so the pin suits students from first grade to middle school. The pages can be white or cream.

Occasions
When to order
March is a popular month for school reading celebrations, and public libraries run summer reading programs from June to August, so orders come twice a year.

More student award pins
Can we make levels for 25, 50 and 100 books?
Yes. Each level is a version of this design, and smaller levels can be ordered in smaller quantities as long as the set meets our minimum.
Can a public library order these?
Yes. Libraries order for summer reading programs; put your library name on the ring.
Can we mix several awards in one order?
Yes. Each award design is priced at its own quantity.
Are these safe for young students?
Ask for material test reports with your quote; for young children we can also make PVC versions.
How big is a 1-inch pin?
Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
