Kindness Award Pin
The design
On the pin
A round pin with a pink ring and a copper rim. KINDNESS runs across the top and COUNTS along the bottom, around an open hand holding a red heart.
What it means
The open hand offering a heart shows kindness as something you give. Schools use it to recognize the students who include others and step in when someone is left out, behavior that rarely earns a grade.
Colors and finish
Pink and copper are warm and gentle; the red heart is the focal point. A teal or blue ring suits schools that want a less pink look.

Occasions
When to order
World Kindness Day is November 13, and many schools run kindness weeks in February. Some give the pin all year as part of a recognition program.
Who orders it
Elementary and middle schools, counselors and anti-bullying programs. Our Bullying Prevention Ribbon Pin pairs with it.

More student award pins
Can students nominate each other?
Many schools do exactly that, and keep a supply of pins in the office for nominated students.
Can we change pink to our school color?
Yes. The ring and the heart can be any color; we match by Pantone number.
Can we mix several awards in one order?
Yes. Each award design is priced at its own quantity.
Are these safe for young students?
Ask for material test reports with your quote; for young children we can also make PVC versions.
How big is a 1-inch pin?
Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
