Good Behavior Star Pin

About this design

Good Behavior Star Pin

The design

On the pin

A pin shaped as a yellow star with a smiling face, edged in gold tone, with GOOD JOB set beneath the smile in navy letters.

What it means

Positive behavior programs work best with small, frequent rewards, and a smiling star is something a young child understands without reading. The pin says the behavior was noticed, which is the point.

Colors and finish

Yellow and gold tone are sunny and simple, using only a few colors so the pin stays inexpensive at large quantities.

Style: Soft enamel
Metal finish: Shiny gold
Base metal: Iron (zinc alloy for large or complex shapes)
Recommended size: 1 in.
Back: Rubber clutch
Packaging: Poly bag or velvet pouch

Occasions

When to order

It is given all year, so schools often order 500 or more at the start of the year to keep a supply in every classroom.

Who orders it

Elementary schools with positive behavior programs, after-school programs and pediatric dental and medical offices. Pins are not toys; for children under 12, tell us on the form so we confirm testing options. See all student award pins.
