Simple Cross Pin
The design

A pin cut in the shape of a Latin cross, with a long lower arm, filled with white enamel and framed by a broad polished gold-tone edge. There is no text: the shape says everything.
What it means
The Latin cross, with its longer lower arm, is the most widely used Christian symbol and recalls the crucifixion and resurrection. An empty cross, without a figure, is shared by most Protestant and many Catholic and Orthodox traditions, so a plain design suits mixed congregations.
Colors and finish
White stands for purity and new life, and gold for glory. Hard enamel gives a smooth, jewelry-like face. For an even simpler look, the whole cross can be polished metal with no enamel.
