Human Trafficking Awareness Ribbon Pin
The design
On the pin
A round pin with a gold-tone rim and a white field. A blue ribbon with a gold-tone outline sits in the center, END HUMAN TRAFFICKING arcs across the top in deep blue, and your organization's name curves along the bottom in gray.
What it means
Blue is the color most anti-trafficking campaigns in the United States use, partly because the federal awareness effort is known as the Blue Campaign. The wording is deliberately a goal rather than a description: the pin asks the wearer to be part of ending something, which opens conversations at hotels, airports and schools where staff are trained to notice the signs.
Colors and finish
One blue and one gray on white keep the pin calm and readable; it is often worn with a work uniform, so it should not look like a fashion piece. Gold tone gives the edge warmth. In hard enamel the white field stays perfectly flat, which helps the small arched text.

When to order
January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in the United States, and January 11 is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. The United Nations marks World Day against Trafficking in Persons on July 30. Approve the proof in November for January events.
Who orders it
Coalitions, hospitality and transport employers training staff, churches and student groups. Pins handed out with a flyer listing the national hotline are common. See our awareness months calendar for other January observances.

More awareness ribbon pins
Can we print the hotline number on the pin?
A phone number is hard to read on a 1-inch pin. Put the number on a flyer you hand out with the pin, and keep a short phrase on the pin itself.
Do you make teal or red versions?
Yes. Some groups use teal or red for trafficking awareness; tell us your color and we change the ribbon and the lettering to match on the proof.
Can I change the wording on the pin?
Yes. Replace the top or bottom text with your organization, campaign or event name.
How many awareness pins should we order?
One per participant or staff member plus 20%. Prices drop at 300, 500 and 1,000 pieces.
How big is a 1-inch pin?
Slightly larger than a US quarter. It is the most common lapel size for service awards. Your proof shows the pin at actual size.
